Dr. Goh Yao Yu

His Approach to Aesthetic Medicine
Dr Goh believes that aesthetic treatments should complement an individual’s existing features rather than significantly alter their appearance. His approach is guided by careful assessment, appropriate treatment selection and a preference for subtle, balanced changes where treatment is suitable. During consultation, Dr Goh takes time to understand each patient’s concerns, medical history and treatment goals before discussing the available options, their suitability and potential risks.
His clinical practice includes the management of aesthetic concerns involving facial lines, acne and acne scarring, pigmentation and signs of skin ageing, using treatments that are selected according to the individual patient’s clinical assessment.
His previous clinical experience in surgery and emergency medicine has also contributed to his methodical approach to patient assessment, procedural care and safety.
Education & Medical Training
Dr Goh graduated with Honours from Monash University, Melbourne, in 2016.
He subsequently completed clinical postings in surgery and emergency medicine within Singapore’s public healthcare system before practising in aesthetic medicine.
Dr Goh holds a Diploma from the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine (AAAM) and has completed relevant training and accreditation requirements for the aesthetic procedures that he performs.
Beyond the Clinic
Outside of clinical practice, Dr Goh enjoys discovering new cuisines and experimenting in the kitchen as an amateur cook. He also enjoys travelling with his family and spending time with his wife and their two dogs.
